Meet & Learn About
Hello, I am Kerry-Ann Zamore and welcome to KZamore Ent.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Counselor, University Professor, Playwright, Screenwriter, Author, Actress, Director and National Conference Speaker as well as the Owner and Director of KZamore Entertainment.
I started KZamore Ent as a community-based Theatre, Film, and Training Company.
I have used my education, experience in theatre, and passion for the arts to create a platform, which utilizes live theatre and films to develop creative space to inspire and strengthen our communities.
I am a graduate of The University of Maryland with a focus in Education and Psychology, a Master’s degree in Education, Training, and Facilitation from The University of Phoenix,
and a second Master’s degree in Social Work and a Ph.D. from University of Southern California.
I am a passionate writer who is also an award-winning film director and screenwriter. I am an energetic trainer and facilitator. I use theatrical presentations to facilitate training in teaching victim advocacy, intervention strategies, family violence, sexual assault awareness, conflict resolution, and a number of other subjects.
I am also a trainer for churches and ministries teaching basic concepts of starting a ministry of arts within the church: I focus on effective writing, stage presence and character development, and the basics of building a sound drama team.
I believe that illustrated presentations carry visual messages that can influence, inspire and empower communities!
In my over 20 years in church and community theatre, I have written numerous original stage plays to include: A Family Matter, Sunday Dinner, Tempest, Never Too Late, The Prodigal, Four Women, An Adaptation of Scrooge, Behind Closed Doors, Murder Mystery, and much more. I have also written award-winning screenplays: The Friend Request 1 and Shattered Pieces.
